Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2026 Golden Ticket Program during USGIF's GEOINT Symposium 2026! The Golden Ticket Program is an opportunity designed for young professionals (35 years or younger, or 5 years or less in the geospatial field) to expand their professional experience, network with peers and senior leaders, and be immersed in unique programming that highlights innovation, career growth, and community.
Applications will close January 16, 2026 at 11:59 E.T.
Those accepted to USGIF's Golden Ticket Program must be organizational or individual members. Membership can be obtained after selection has occurred.
This program is for young professionals who:
- Enjoy structured, focused programming designed to enhance their leadership skills
- Are comfortable with and excited about networking
- Feel positively about mentorship and the impacts of connecting to those with diverse experiences
- Can commit to participating in the program with full attention and engagement
Applicants should be prepared to submit the following:
- Personal/demographic information
- Professional information
- Responses to several short-answer questions
- A current resume or CV
- A letter of support from their employer, advisor, or program lead (requests are made via Submittable for recommenders to upload)
Once applications close, USGIF's selection committee will review each application. We will notify you about your acceptance at the end of February 2026*. Please note that those selected to participate in the Golden Ticket program will receive a complimentary registration code for the Symposium, however, participants are responsible for their own travel and housing.
*Applicants should expect to receive primary communications from USGIF about the status of their submissions through USGIF's Submittable account.
